Vitamin D Supplement

With the incessant rain and the daylight hours of 1pm to 3pm in Winter Seattle, Lia doesn’t get much sun these days. Babies need Vitamin D for strong bone growth, so we added Vitamin D supplement to Lia’s gourmet diet, in the company of bland steamed broccoli and flavorless hard-boiled chicken. Many people have noted how difficult it may be to offer these supplements to babies and suggested adding it to food instead, but we decided to see Lia’s response of raw vitamin D (and A, C in this case). This was the clip of our first attempt at what was portrayed as an insurmountable feat…

Looks like we’ve underestimated Lia!

Christmas Gifts!

Yesterday was Lia’s first Christmas, and in the morning, it was time for gifts!

Lia seemed very happy to be opening gifts for the first time.

Then she increased her intensity and focused on opening gifts…

After a while, everything was opened, and her favorite was a Learn & Groove Musical Table!

Lia would like to thank all the friends and family for making this her best Christmas ever!

Lia and Snow

As you know, we’ve been pounded by snow in Seattle today, getting about half a foot of snow around our area!

 Snowmen for busy parents…

Karen got Lia ready by putting on her tiny shoes…

Now it was time to go outside, which was snowing!

And a little time in the Bumbo Chair…

And a few steps in the snow…

Unfortunately Lia didn’t seem particularly excited about snow, but one day she will love it!

Lia 7 months: teething

Lia is 7 months old now. We noticed that she coughed occasionally and the coughing started 2 weeks ago. Also, she started to wake up crying every 3-4 hours at night. When we went to the 6 months check up and found out why she wasn’t herself lately……..

I hope that she will go back to her 9 hours sleep now since the two little white puppies are out. 😉
